Sense & Sensibility uses the Standard
American measurements for children's pattern sizes, which are
listed above. Standard pattern sizes do not in any way resemble
the clothing sizes that you will find at your local ready-made
clothing shop, so it is very, very important that you go from
actual body measurements rather than what you believe is the correct
"size."
If you find that your child is between
sizes, don't panic! Most people are. Sense & Sensibility patterns
include information to link you to their own website, where there
are instructions on adjusting patterns to fit your little person
precisely.
